The very name speaks for itself: respectability and welfare. There are other “pluses” as well. Northern part of the city is located in reserved area of woods and meadows Oak Ridges, which has recently become a topic: huge construction is being delivered these days, and they will not touch the reserved moraine any more, which is correct – the mother nature has its limits. We should take care of it.

Surprisingly, the city has rather developed structure of public transport. Surprisingly, because it is not clear why the other cities can’t boast the same? However, it is obvious, that the connection is excellent – it takes 50 minutes to get to theatres, exhibitions, and boutiques of the Great City; road interchanges can be seen everywhere. There are schools, libraries, stadiums, cinemas, community centres, pools, courts – you name it. Development rates are high, and residential property gets sold out.

Major streets can be named Yonge&Bayview. Yonge is major shopping street, which has long before become very popular among our fellow countrymen. Russian language is a rule here, rather than an exception; it can be heard in every shop, automobile showroom or supermarket.

Until recently one of favorite streets of Russian speaking residents was Weldrick Street with the adjacent lanes and parallel small streets. The only disadvantage of the street is outdated residential property: greater part if buildings and town houses have over 20 years of age, which is rather old for Canadian type houses. That is, if there gets anything broken after this period, they take it for granted. For this reason old houses get completely redesigned or rebuilt.

Now let’s take a walk across the well-known Bayview Avenue: drop by such areas, as Bayview Hill and Bayview North to the east from Bayview, and feel surprisingly pleasant, amiable atmosphere and mark cleanliness and good condition of these communities. Generally speaking, when choosing a place to live or invest we recommend getting the famous cartographic guide called "Toronto & Area", which is recommended by Toronto Real Estate Board. Here you will find not only location of schools and parks, but also industrial areas, hospitals, cemeteries, and many other items that directly affect the correctness of one’s choice in terms of real estate depending on purposes set.

Richmond Hill is a city with high education and prosperity level, and to the east from Bayview it is particularly clear: houses have mandatory decoration in the form of external small gardens, streets are paved with interlock, and people are calm and amiable. Housing density is not as high as in Yonge, where, for example, one can see multi-level condominiums, and, correspondingly, public transport is not loaded that much and moves quicker.

It is considered prestigious to live in the area of Mill Pond. It is a small, but extremely picturesque lake located in the very heart of historical Richmond Hill. Here there are many 100 year old bungalows, but one can also find new houses built at the place of knocked down houses. It is pleasant to walk here and ride a bicycle along small shadowy streets. In general, the place is very pleasant. I’d like to warn you: as any other city, Richmond Hill has not only advantages. There are places where one can here noise from electric train; there are quite faceless streets with no potential for development in the short term. However, there are areas, which become popular at a slapping pace. Particularly, they include Macleod's Landing Community, which is located in nature conservancy zone to the north from Gamble Rd. between Yonge and Bathurst.

According to the abovementioned Royal Bank of Canada, second factor when choosing a place to live is price. We can say that in most cases price for property is defined by remoteness from the centre of Toronto and small municipal centers, which are included into jurisdiction of Metro-Toronto administrative district (GTA). In most cases, but not always. This is explained by the fact that within GTA there are districts with traditionally expensive real estate due to estate lots located here, rather than land price.
